About Lyons Crossing

Lyons Crossing

3 neighborhoods, one community.

Community:  Lyons Crossing consists of three neighborhoods each with individual access roads from Northshore Drive.  The community has 140 homes.  While there are people of all ages living in Lyons Crossing the majority of homeowners are families with school-age children.    All three neighborhoods are primarily cul-de-sacs, making it ideal for children.    Lots range from nearly level to steep, and architecturally the homes are primarily all brick or brick facing/siding.

Shopping:  Lyons Crossing is ideal for shopping.  Rocky Hill, one mile east of the subdivision, features an independent grocery store, hardware store, cleaners, and several small businesses including auto services, restaurants, and medical care.  Four miles west is additional shopping and easy access to the Pellissippi Parkway.  Just a few miles north of the subdivision is West Town Mall, anchored by large department stores with additional shopping with major bookstores and pet supplies.

Schools:  Lyons Crossing is currently zoned for Rocky Hill Elementary (1.5 miles east), West Valley Middle (6 miles northwest), and West High School (6 miles northeast).  For more information about specific schools check out knoxschools.org

Homeowner information:  Lyons Crossing has a Homeowners Association with very low annual dues.  These dues go toward entrance landscaping, social events and other neighborhood needs.  There are bylaws governing the subdivision that should be considered before purchasing a home.  Some bylaws may exceed standards set by Knox County.

Swimming Pool:  Lyons Crossing does have a community swimming pool with membership available to all homeowners.
